When it comes to wood fences we take no shortcuts. All of our wood fences are made of Western Red Cedar (WRC). Our posts are set in concrete and the boards are nailed, not stapled, using only aluminum and galvanized screw shank nails. Board-by-board construction of the fence assures you of a quality installation following the terrain of you yard. All of our wood fences have a one-year warranty on labor and materials. As with all wood, WRC may warp, split, or shrink due to drying out. We highly recommend regular applications of weather resistant sealant to protect your investment.

The heights of our wood fences are 3'-8' tall. Panel sections can be crowned, scalloped, or Bradford crowned. Posts can be detailed to accentuate style.

	Privacy (or Solid Panel) Pros: Total privacy and security, protect and contain small pets and children, can add style by customizing the posts and/or panels Cons: Boards may shrink by drying out and cause slight gaps between each other therefore regular maintenance is necessary. Also this type of fence takes a lot of abuse under windy conditions.
	Picket (or Semi-privacy) Pros: Highly recommended due to allowing wind to "cut" through fence. Used more for containment and appearance. Style can be added by customizing the posts and/or panels. Cons: Supplies minimal privacy and/or security. Boards may shrink by drying out and cause slight gaps between each other therefore regular maintenance is necessary.
	Shadowbox (or Friendly Neighbor) Pros: Very eye appealing and aesthetically pleasing from both the inside and outside of the fence. This fence can be split by neighbors since there is no inside or outside look to this type of fence. This fence offers privacy and security, as well as protects and contains small pets and children. Cons: Boards may shrink by drying out and cause slight gaps between each other therefore regular maintenance is necessary. This fence is not completely private at certain angles.
	Custom We can do a lattice top, picket top, or whatever style you can dream up to customize the above wood fences. Pros: A unique eye-appealing style can be a pleasant addition to an ordinary fence. Cons: Additional costs are acquired from customizing. Regular maintenance is necessary.
	Post and Rail The only post and rail wood fences we do are WRC split rail. This type of fence comes in 2 or 3 rails. Pros: Offers a very rustic look that compliments our natural Montana environment. Supplies containment for large pets. Wire mesh can be added for containment of smaller pets and/or children. Cons: Supplies very minimal privacy and/or security. Regular maintenance is necessary.
